Just starting to develop my wardrobe and I was wondering if anyone knows of any places where I can get fabrics for suits or shirts. Also I'm having problems finding tailors who make shirts, anyone know of an affordable tailor (under $120) who makes shirts? Secondly are their any other sites like SF or the sartorialist where a young gentleman can get cues? I understand that it probably wouldn't be appropriate to post them here so feel free to pm me.

I live on the east coast if anyone has tailoring suggestions so NYC, Philly, DC or Boston would be worth it.

I think if you hang out here for a few days you will begin to get some feedback on your questions. There are a lot of threads that discuss these questions on a rather frequent basis.

at the risk of repeating myself, I recommend mytailor.com for shirts in your price range.
