By the way has it been determined or established that G&G uses the same process of hand sewing the apron on the Thorpe with a Pig Bristle that EG uses on the Dover?

I can't imagine how else they would make their hand sewn aprons. My Hove apron looks just as well made as any Dover i have seen...

I'd have no idea what other process they might possibly use, but I had no doubt as to the quality.

Just wondered if it were the same process.

I decided to go with a Hove instead of waiting for the Dover. The sewing doesn't look that much different to me, and even if it weren't sewn by the same method, it wouldn't make a difference to me, as it looks fairly similar.

Well, I'm certainly no GG expert. This is probably a @Leaves question.

However, considering GG spawned from EG, it would make sense that they carried over all of the shoe building processes. Including the pig bristle hand sewn apron of course...
