Found orphaned suit coat in same fabric as my odd pants

I have a pair of odd pants made in Super 120s fine herringbone. I love them -- flat front, trim fit, nice handwork, beautiful fabric. The other day I saw an orphaned suit coat in what I am virtually 100% positive is from the exact same fabric (albeit a different tailoring firm). I was thinking that if the price on the coat drops down low enough, I would purchase it and end up with a very nice suit. Are there any downsides to this?

Can't think of any downside but after that Talbott belt find-of-the-year (Thanks Again BTW) and now this, I might just want to start calling you the Luckiest Person On Earth.

Lucky you !

It is fairly possible it is the same cloth weaver, but be careful, if your trousers or the jacket have been dry-cleaned several times more, the difference could show in daylight

I'd take the pants along when about to purchase the jacket. Look at them together in daylight - not the store's artificial light - before deciding they're a match.
