? for Morrissey fans

May go to Morrissey show in Columbus on Fri. 5/18. A big deciding factor will be whether he just does solo stuff at his shows, or does Smiths stuff as well.

So, if you've been to a Morrissey show, any info/input as to set list and worthiness of the show in general would be great.

Looks like it's a good amount of solo stuff, but he mixes in some Smiths songs. I'm going to see him in Boston next month, can't wait!

Absolutely go; I would say that no matter what, but the man is 48 in a week, and I think we may be nearing the point where he starts to hit diminishing returns in his live shows.

I don't think I'm allowed to answer Morrissey questions around here anymore, but I recommend going--the setlist Hawkeye posted has fewer Smiths songs than I heard last I saw him (Fall 05?), but he's still a showman. The first chords of "How Soon Is Now" will give you goosebumps.

I'd see him again this time round, but he's playing crappy venues here.

I'll most likely go if I can get my wife to go with, or if any other forum members are hitting the Columbus show ... I don't know as many people in Columbus as I used to, and the ones I do know are not Morrissey fans.
