Hello All,

This is my first post of SF. I am facing a dillemna and thought you all would be the right source for a solution.

I will be working this summer in London and will likely be in a suit everyday. Though I have the suits, I have nothing to stave off the English sunshine. I would like to get a jacket that is an appropriate spring/summer weight that I can wear with a variety of navy, lighter grey, and charcoal suits.

One caveat: I am 6'6" and really cannot wear anything in regular lengths due to sleeve length (37"). I can work with a 44L, but usually still need to get suit sleeves let out an extra inch when purchased OTR.

Right now, the 44L Ralph Lauren Galant Trench on Macy's is probably in the lead, though Banana Republic has virtually the same jacket in a Large Tall which may fit ok. I would be glad to take reviews on either of these if anyone has seen/worn them. My only problem with both of them is the washed-out khaki color they come in. If I get a khaki trench I would like one slightly darker, classic Burberry khaki or a warmer color similar to the Wedgewood Tobacco trench on J.crew (which doesn't come in a Tall size). Other recommendations are encouraged as I do not presently love either of these jackets.

In the alternative, does anyone know of some slimmer fitting grey or navy raincoats, macs, or trenches that may be worn over a suit that I have been unable to find? I already have a black coat, but it is too heavy for summer wear and I was looking for a little variety.

I'll either order domestically for quick delivery, or pick something up in London once I get there, so trans-atlantic recommendations are welcome.
