First thread on this forum soo bear with me.
Its winding down to one month to my year 10 prom, formal or whatever you call it, i havent bought a suit yet and was looking for some tips and advice on buying a quality suit. I am about 5 11 or 179 cms, 72 kilos I think that's about 160 pounds, bit fuzzy on that conversion though im pretty average in general. I live on the central coast in NSW Australia, so am unfortunately surrounded by goons in boardshorts and tanks. Any advice is appreciated.

Since you are probably not done growing it might be best to rent a tuxedo or do people wear suits to these events? The only advice I have is that when you start buying suits--buy quality items that will last.

You'll do fine in board shorts, mate. Chicks dig that, assuming you have the body for it. You are not gonna get laid by wearing a suit.
