It isn’t a coat made by loro piana itself, but rather a coat made using loro piana cashmere fabric. LP Cashmere fabric is still excellent usually but it’s not necessarily indicative of the quality of the garment itself.

Hmmmm, I think it's fake. How old is it? Usually the Brunello Cucinelli tag will say something like cashmere or wool and cashmere. I've got a few Cucinelli pieces and they all have that. I'm not an expert though.
