Below is what I wear on a daily basis. How am I doing? What can I do to improve? Tips appreciated!

I'm going for a cool, approachable, casual look. Trying to look my best for all the fine ladies out there. ;-)

Some info.

Age: 27
Height: 5'1
Weight: 130 ~ 135 lbs
Country: I live on a warm tropical island. Can't wear thick sweaters or winter wear.

Keep the above in mind when making suggestions.

Each photo shows a different shirt. I change the pants in some and I wear about 4 different shoes. This is how I look on any typical outing.

get the most approaches by women in this shirt. can't figure out what it is

Pants feels real tight on me. Don't think it shows though.

Hmmm .... I'm a bit older so their may be somewhat of a generation gap. Plus, I was wearing military uniforms 90% of the time when I was your age. OK, here goes ...

1. Get some slimmer fit jeans that are the proper length. You aren't very tall, and all those extra stacks around the ankles make you look shorter and kind of squatty.

2. Lose the graphic tees. You are right around the age where graphic tees start to = douchebag.

3. Get some leather shoes. Your sneakers are cool (nothing too gaudy), but you need some casual leather shoes.

4. Wear a shirt with a collar (madras, linen, light cotton)

5. Maybe try some chino or linen pants as well. You can pair these with a Tshirt, but make it a plain, form fitting tee.

The good news is that you aren't some flabby, soft guy that can't wear slim fitting stuff.

Last but not least ... shave. If you can't grow a full, glorious beard, then ditch the patchwork scruff.

1. The pants in photo 1, 2, and 5 were shortened by a tailor, did they do a good job?

3. Leather shoes and jeans... I don't know about this

4. Shirts with collars more formal to me, too formal for streetwear imo. I'll take good look at my environment next time I'm out before I pick up one for the street

5. Chino/khaki pants.... that's your military background showing lol. besides, school kids around here wear khakis as part of their uniform, with my height, people might mistake me for one, especially if I'm freshly shaven.

If the goal is to attract women, then you should emulate the clothing that the guys who are getting all the women are wearing. Since most of us probably do not live where you live, it's difficult for us to give you sound advice. Good luck.

BTW your jeans need to be hemmed shorter. They are probably a good couple of inches too long.

if you don't want to wear a collar, and you aren't interested in chinos (although that seems ideal for tropical weather), you should get some dark, fitted jeans and single color v necks. Since you don't want to wear leather shoes, why not try a pair of chucks or jack purcells (i see you already have one pair of chucks, maybe get a white pair)? You can get a whole new wardrobe for under $300 (i'm thinking chuck taylors, uniqlo v neck, dark denim - APC or Levis).

graphic t's, running shirts, and washed jeans are not the business.

if all else fails, you can always get to marshall's and get an enyce velour suit - guaranteed to get all the honies!

Not really, I've never been able to identify a particular style but I do recognize that they all look good/sharp in whatever they're wearing.

That said, I'm serious. People on this forum are here because they love personal style and fashion. Not because they are trying to pick up chicks. That's a pretty depressing reason to be interested in something. This isn't a self help forum. It's an enthusiast forum.

You have no sense of style. If you actually care, you should start looking at the types of outfits other members here put together. I suspect you don't really care, though.

"saracasm"

anyways, I agree with brad-t, and judging by your responses to some of the advice you've gotten on here, you really don't care.

D M B gave you a list of useful starting points and you responded with "no" and justified poor sartorial decisions.

you're not trying to improve your style, you're trying to rationalize your bad style.

I agree with above comment, if you want to learn something, there are enough resources on this forum (and other websites) for you to check out some images and start building a collection that doesn't involve bodybuilding.com shirts.

not here for dating advice either, just trying to look my sharpest. I could have easily said I'm trying to look impressive at business meetings or attract as much attention as I can. i believe the wears intention will have some influence on how they dress. just getting that out their
