I have some of the 8oz chinos and I was comfortable the other day in Chicago where it was 90*F+ and a little humid. I would say they will definitely be light enough for summer for the majority of people, they are so much better than denim on a hot day.

What I think is in order is a formal review of NYR's early access to these Brixtons. What did he know and when? Was he simply out for his passeggiata and espied the gleam of shell? Has he installed tracking devices on the delivery trucks shuttling between Alden HQ and Epaulet? We demand answers.

Or maybe he was on the preorder.

Actually it was just dumb luck. I showed up about the same time as the UPS guy to pick up some pants. Brooklyn store in the house! (and yup, was a pre-order as well...been paining ********** Mike and Adele every time I stopped in about the Brixtons.)
