Not sure about the source but sure looks like bison. It was something Patrik (Skoak) found at the EB factory and offered for (G)MTO.

Super soft and one of my favorite boots.

Oh yes, I do remember when Patrik found that leather. I really should have gone in on it, as it is lovely. Of course, I didn’t have my fit and sizing nailed down at that time.

They don't technically have a specific model number since it's a modified 3973 - the modification is the fact that it's all different pieces so you can have it multiple tones.

It's on the 173 last.

I really like the big welt on those EB dinosaurs. I’ll try and get that sans Norvegese stitching on some jumper boots I am ordering MTO.

Picked up this pair of Bonafe button boots from a fellow forumite and excellent chap. Espresso calf topped by a snuff suede shaft over Dainite on the 062 last. I am tickled pink.
