@Leaves

Is the mahogany shell you saw similar in shade to this Etrusco bal boot?

Hey how do you find the leather quality on this? And is it any comfortable to walk around in?

Looking to get this from skoak and want to make sure it's money well spent! Thanks!

You are not going to go wrong with EB. Boots are outstanding in every way I have no complains minus they are pain in ass to put on. But wish they had speed hook etc. But other than that I would recommend them walking is very comfortable. EB uses dainite with single leather sole & comfort is there. Get them & enjoy you won't be disappointed :D

Wearing my Bonafe MTO chukkas today! Some thin sockliners I got from Vass have improved the fit tremendously. Many thanks to Skoak for an exceptional pair!

Glad those worked out for you @peppercorn78, they look awesome.

You took a half size down from your AE 5 last EEE size, right? If you were ordering again, given the high instep volume, would you consider going a full size down?

Thanks for this! One quick question.. I'm a UK8.5 on the carmina rain. Will it be the same size for this EB?

You should be same size as rain, but keep in mind some people go half size down some take same size as there carmina rain. In this case it's a boot if you do go 8.5UK you can still use thicker sock & you will have better idea of your actual size for future purchase. Hope this helps & this is towards EB boot on 809 last you cannot go wrong. Hope this helps.
