@mossrockss
 seems like our measurements are about the same. I favor 31" as well and was in the same conundrum. I was advised by the NMWA crew to take a 52L in the Lorenzo before the adjustments to the new cut for the same reasons you mention (open quarters make the suit wear shorter), and thankfully it worked out really well.  I was worried since I am 6'0" that it would be too long, but I think I must have a long torso to be able to wear the same size as Murl.

I'm not sure how this translates to the new cut, since I believe the quarters are supposed to slightly less open.

Yeah, sounds super similar—I'm just shy of 6'0" as well. Have any pics of the jacket on you?

It may be moot bc the jacket is out of stock in 52L… but I wanna know just for the sake of knowing even if it doesn't come back in stock.

The quarters are substantially more closed on the NMWA cut than they were on the Lorenzo.

I'm 6' 1.5" and found the NMWA gunclub to be too long in the 52L, though the same size is perfect in the navy herringbone suit.

Not really sure why that is because the lengths are the same.

It's because the more open quarters on the Lorenzo make the jacket look shorter.

I thought that might be it, but it's nice to have an expert confirm. In that case I'm going to exchange the L for a R.

That's exactly what's happening

The base back length is also 1 cm longer in the NMWA than the Lorenzo.

The Isaia showroom is right there, in the building next to Prada on madison. And i've spoken to their reps and Isaia is set to have a retail store open this coming fall. So hopefully they will be cool enough to carry Eidos in the store as well!

Nope - the brands are separate and sold as such. There will be no Eidos product in the two upcoming Isaia stores.

Posted measurements are exactly the same, though. ;)

It's just to make sure that you're paying attention!

We'll double check but it should be 1cm longer in back length. The rest is essentially unchanged.
