I am considering the purchase of a pair of boots for winter to withstand rain. I have a pair of suede chukka boots with rubber sole and they are great against rain. They are almost worn. Now I would like to try a different leather.
At first I considered shell cordovan. Then, I visited Edward Green website and found some models in Delapre Utah leather. Does anyone have experience with Banbury or Halifax boots in Delapre Utah to tell how they compare with suede or shell cordovan chukka boots during winter and against rain? Is Delapre Utah more long lasting and worth the investment?
Thank you in advance.
