Figured I would support the store and 'pull the trigger' on a pair of Dovers, in a color other than Dark Oak.
No Go - no special orders for the next 12 months!

They have pulled the special order from their website--you can only purchase RTWs. Wondering, as stated above, is the EG or Sky Valet?

Just received a pair of EG Ullswater that I had made up. These are on the 202 last with Mahogany Country Calf on dainite soles. I know that some people didn't like this style, but to me this is an awesome foul weather country shoe.

not bad. if they could balance out the heel block, it would be even better. unfortunately, a lot of companies suffer from this syndrome. even g&g with their "country" offerings. strange, at least.

Delivery times are through the roof these days. I personally don't mind since I have no real shortage of shoes, can always wait as long as it takes.

You could always get a bargain from e-Bay if you're in a rush though, check this one out:-

Would you trust a guy who calls himself "Wetblujob"?

I messaged the guy and he says the shoes are going to be donated to some army veteran corps at the end of the auction because nobody in their right mind would want to bid on those shoes.

Those photos look legit though, and the flaws seem pretty real, especially the cracking and the punching holes that are duplicated at the back of the shoe.

I offered him $500 and he turned me down.

That is indeed bad news! I emailed them a few days ago and asked which models will remain available on the 888 last and if there will be other restrictions in the MTO program. Will share once (if) I get an answer.

Answer I finally got is that at the London store all can be ordered on 888.

I saw those earlier today on the Leather Soul site, and I have to say I don't like them. I am as big an EG fan as anyone here but these look like blobs - shell is not something I think EG does well.
