I need some help with this item here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=190163068954 I've never bought a suit off of ebay. Does this look legit? If so, what do you think would be a reasonable price for it if you bought it off of ebay? I did a search for the seller, and it appears that he tried to pass a fake Armani off as a real one, be it intentional or unintentional.

Item is legit but not of recent manufacture...I suggest late 70s/early 80s, judging by waist band treatment and width of lapels.

Other thing to note with this fabric is compression or 'shine' on elbow/forearm and seat. You might ask to see a picture even though this is hard to photograph.

RLPL suits in the $650 range at RL outlets are a steal. Grab them if you can. The price on this one is more or less the going rate on ebay.

Thanks, Long Knives. That's what I thought. I found some real nice three piece jobs a while back for $650, but they were REALLY small sizes.

You like these DBs?

I really like the RLPL DB's, but I just don't have the guts to wear one. I'm a younger guy in my early thirties and a size 38/40, so I just don't fit the part. But they look smashing on a larger frame.

Note that this particular suit was made for a specific customer (MTM?). Make sure the measurements are right if you're thinking about buying.

Seller has a number of other good deals

She's been on eBay for a while and I bought something from her 5 or 6 years ago, which I ended up returning. A lot of low to mid-level stuff, most of which is dated, but you can the find the odd classic piece like that Soutwick, and the prices are very good.

Does anyone here actually like Southwick? I tried a few in stores or from STP and they always seemed to fit like a big refigerator box
