UNIFORM LA CHILLICOTHE WORK JACKET Drop, going on right now.
Uniform LA's Chillicothe Work Jacket is an elevated take on the classic Detroit Work Jacket. Made of ultra-premium 14-ounce Japanese canvas, it has been meticulously washed and hand distressed to replicate vintage workwear that’s been worn for years, and available in three colors.
This just dropped today. If you missed out on the preorder, there are some sizes left, but they won't be around for long. Check out the remaining stock here
Good luck!.

I was looking forward to seeing the full range of the Eastland Made in Maine collection, but I thought the pricing would be lower seeing as they are rather late to the game. Also, they don't offer anything custom, and that includes offering widths, which both Quoddy and Oak Street do.
Unfortunately, I don't see that happening, haha. Cheap labor in Maine can't compare to cheap labor overseas, unfortunately...But, it's certainly a step in the right direction if the collection continues beyond this season (not privy their future plans, personally).

Don't see the logic that late to the game should = lower prices. I do think Eastland is getting into a very crowded pool. It's no longer Sperry or Quoddy for special makeups--There's a ton of moccs out there at a number of price ranges, from Sperry to LL Bean signature to Quoddy and yuketen, and I have to think at some point the enthusiast market is going to be saturated, and I'm not sure the Sperry customer is going to pony up for $300. And that's even if the mocc trend sticks...

I really can't speak to the metrics of producing shoes, but you may be right. That said, there's a reason Oak St is selling mainly through their site instead of retailers. If the others weren't selling through retailers, they could probably cut the price in half (at least w/conventional retail pricing model).
