Monaco, Luxembourg, Iceland, and the Vatican might be small, but they are all protected by NATO. So I don't think they are viable options. How about Somalia? That seems to be up for grabs, if you want it.
^this. Some play hard to get, some play hard to want

Ya .. but then you'd have to put up with the Quebecer's and their perpetual whining. I think I'd rather invade a country with no people. Antarctica maybe?

If you want the most bang for your buck go for Italy. Way worse military history than France IMO.

France is underrated, they make good weapons.

Yea, but they don't know how to use them. Their track record is not too good since the little man lost power.

Do you just want to invade? Or invade and keep?

Definitely one of the African ones. $50B just doesn't go very far.

    Brutally difficult terrain.

The Canadian Maritimes are ripe for the picking....Also relatively easy to fend off a counter attack since the only land route is North through New Brunswick......

Maldives - the government is on a little island. the whole military is in one building, right next to the presidents house, the legislative building, the court, the telephone company and the tv. they don't have any real warships, just a few small gunboats. no airforce. I could take over the country with a dozen men and a couple of zodiacs.

not that I've ever thought about it.
