Wearing a similar shirt from Harry White and a Cappelli blackwatch regimental tie so that get up is right up my alley :slayer:

Sounds good JG, that blackwatch tie still available? I'll have a look later.

The tie above was made by Patrizio/EGC for NAPOLI PER ACCADEMIA MILITARE DI MODENA. It's a lovely understated tie with this at the bottom that sets it off a treat.

In chatting to Pat about it he shared some fascinating pics and information. For example here's Pat's ties from Military School de Nunziatella, est 1787

He lived there from 1973 to 1976

As I said fascinating stuff from a most genuine and charming man. Long may his success continue!

This linen on the left evokes the feel of a black watch, and I'll post it here as data (next to the green medallion madder). Patrizio took a picture of both in sunlight for me. I think it's blue/green against a dark blue ground, but verify with Patrizio if you are interested. Has anyone had it made up and has a pic with a fit?

I think it's linen C6 which @Mr. Six noticed.

^ nice stripes from Pat, Tweedy Am I crazy though if I don't care for a single one of the ties below? They are too "geometric" for me. I feel like sorts of tie silk patterns are the ones many members culled from their wardrobe if they joined around 2006-2010. They feel like holdovers from the 1990s I guess I've been conditioned to like simpler tie designs. Simpler Macclesfield patterns, dots, stripes, etc. None of those do it for me
Some of you probably received these but if not, some recent silk arrivals, not yet on the website. He sent me a few raw silks, but I think those are on the website already.
