Im attending a wedding in February in Florida. I was thinking of wearing a light tan/sand suit. Would a light blue shirt, with contrasting white collars and a red paisley tie work well?

Thanks for any suggestions

I'm of the opinion that contrast collars, despite my personal dislike for them, are too business formal for a light tan suit. They go best with something dark and preferably w/ pinstripes, if done at all, IMHO.

Stick with blue shirt/blue collar. White collar would be too formal.

I would worry about many red ties with a tan suit...it could be very overpowering.

I agree with the above. Crisp white shirt with blue tie works best IMO. Or go real formal with white shirt, black tie, and black shoes.
