All I’m saying is I don’t think the US market is the main factor in a drop in sales for a company like H&M. So using the the tail end of of March as an indicator probably isn’t that fair considerinf they’re a huge, global company with locations all over the place. And I would assume that number includes all of H&M businesses.

I think they've been struggling for a while.

I just quickly checked their quarterly. I have no idea about the geographical breakdown of their sales. Anyway it’s safe to say that they are heavily impacted by all this. Probably just going to get worse as the macroeconomic situation deteriorates and supply chains are further disrupted. Apparently China is now the bright spot, since most stores are open there again.

Our bank has been having the same issues. We do get regular updates though.

#bankofamerica was trending on Twitter yesterday afternoon. If you only have a business checking account with them, and no existing credit card or loan, they don't want to hear from you. My sister's business has their checking with BOA and a credit card with Chase, making her persona non gratia with both

BC (Canada) Apparel & Gear Association has posted patterns and techpack for PPE medical gowns online. Fabric listed is from local supply but these are the first I've seen of public patterns for PPE that's not masks. If you've got Gerber or other drafting program you can grab the pattern files with techpack here- https://www.bcapparelandgear.com/covid19

Yup. It's going to take a couple of seasons - at best - to even think about what normal production might look like for lots of brands. Fall is already screwed for most brands and samples for SS21 production are probably late and stalled out. Small and or agile brands might be able to move fast in this environment.

I am already making painful changes to my wardrobe planning. Instead of buying a particular pair of white sneakers, which are delayed due to problems in Portugal, I am considering buying another pair of almost identical white sneakers which made it home in time. Really hoping this sorts itself out soon.

In the end, we always just default to CP achilles (I guess bballs have replaced tournaments as the 2nd choice) and MMM gats.
