Different suit coat with different suit pants

They are all solid colors, thankfully.
Ill try some alterations here and there to the buttons and other details and maybe get pants from the same line from the same brand as the coat.
Seems to be the best I can do for now

Im about 5'9 160lbs

This is one of the prime causes of guys being badly dressed: buying things because they are on sale irrespective of (1) whether they fit well, (2) work with other things in their wardrobe, (3) are the right colour etc etc. Never buy something solely, or predominantly, because it is on sale - when you walk down the street wearing it, no one knows what it cost, they just see an ill fitting garment.

As a rule of thumb, to try and avoid this problem I try not to buy things on sale unless I would have been prepared to have paid full price for them.

At 5'9", you shouldn't ever wear a long jacket. Regular is more than long enough. Short probably even better.

That's a good way of doing it. I guess my problem is trying to update my wardrobe to quick.

OK. Slow down. Your rushing into things has already caused you to throw out a lot of money, and you are headed right back that way.

Don't take this the wrong way--I'm not trying to be a dick--but lurk more. Running off and buying a bunch of suits that sorta-but-not-quite fit is another great way to waste a ton of money. Read some more, figure out what a well-fitting suit looks like, figure out what classic suits/SCs are that would be versatile, and build a wardrobe, rather than a large collection of ******-fitting and looking jackets/suits that you'll never be able to wear without looking like a clown.

It's not a matter of options. Accept the fact that 95% of the stuff in any shop is not going to fit you. If you are a chest size 38, then basically only a 38R or a 38S will ever fit you. Try a size up or down if you want, but the chance of success there will be infinitesimal.
