CXL boot stretch? Need <1/4" for one big toe

Can a cobbler help me get just 1/8-1/4" stretch in length along the big toe axis in one new cxl boot? I have these brand new, very thick, heavy, stiff (and oh so beautiful) Lofgren Donkey Punchers that fit like a glove left foot but for my 1/4" longer right foot...my big toe just grazes the front of the boot. It may not even be enough to need to deal with. I can't imagine losing all the rest of the great handshake fit by going up a half size. It's just too good as is. In a thin sock with a trimmed nail and before there's really been more than a couple days of light break in, my right big toe barely feels the front of the boot when weighted and walking. There's toe wiggle room in all directions and no binding or anything else wrong. The break in is gonna be fine with time but I am curious if any of you guys know about magic cobbler powers? I just need a hair of push along the big toe axis to be a glove fit.
