Custom White's Boots ... Thoughts?

My only pair of White's worn earlier this week...Stevens on 5050 in horween burgundy horsehide. Matched with watch strap in horween burgundy cxl.

Long time no White's. Hit these with a little VSC today (normally a strict Bick 4 user on most leathers) - a little shinier than expected, but I think they look good.

Anyone here have experience with the 9338 swing last?

I'm a 10D/E brannock so I should be 9.5E on the 55 last. Assuming my 55 size is accurate, do I take the same size 9.5E or size down to 9.5D for the swing?

Baker's Black Friday White's sale has started so I briefly wondered if I needed a second pair of Vibram 100 lugged sole BHs and then I looked at current pricing -- dear lord, they can get so expensive now! The upcharge for some leathers is astronomical. Needless to say, I noped right out of the configurator. I shall for now remain happy with my half dozen pairs of White's that were bought before the age of inflation insanity.

The White's ad that I saw says "up to 30% off", so that means a possibility of discounts less than 30% too. I'll probably order Bounty Hunters through Baker's for the customization options and to have the Baker's customer service.

Last year I wasn't upcharged for 10" height or lining leather, but this year it's $40 extra for the height and $75 for the lining. 😭

Hey guys ,
I am placing an order for a custom plain toe boot. I am torn between the horsehide and the tan latigo .
Coz of the unpredictable break on the horsehide , I am leaning towards the tan latigo . Anyone has some photos of how the horsehide ages . I am not really a fan of creases , I love a rolled vamp .
