Does anyone here where this? I just bought a smaller bottle of the cologne and though it's pretty much the polar opposite of what I wear now (Dior Higher) it's a great scent, and it'll probably be my new night/winter scent. Great stuff...

I bought a bottle sometime last winter, and I feel bad in saying this... I know how much we all paid for it... but, it's just not THAT great. It smells way too similar to Coolwater, so the justification in price IMO is not there. It also doesn't last any longer either. It's all about brand name credibility and packageing, I got little else out of the product, however I really do like the scent and continue to wear it. Anyone else have a similar experience? I know alot of us wear Green Irish Tweed. In fact I'm wearing it right now as I type this

Hmm . . . I thought it smelled familiar, but I couldn't identify the mass-market department store cologne it resembled.  I personally prefer Silver Mountain Water to Green Irish Tweed, due to the former's more distinctive scent, but it too has pitiful staying power.

That's a shame... I personally like the cache of the brand Creed. I'm gonna try the citrus Creed scent next, hopefully it will yeild better results. Up till now the best cologne I've found is Gucci Envy, it has a nice deep woodsy scent, and awesome staying power. I really can't recommend it for everyone, since I started noticing how much the chemisty between skin oil and fragrance affects the overall scent.

It's weird, cause I'll sample these outstanding soapy scents that I really love when smelled on paper, then I'll try them, and they smell terrible when on my skin... Kiton, being the most notable... I really wished that one worked out, it is outstanding.
