I'm currently a college student.

I've always had an interest in fashion but it's gotten to the point where I'm spending far too much time on clothes, be that buying them, selling them, putting outfits together or just posting on forums like this, so I want to still dress well but take most of the thinking out of the way.

I want to develop a somewhat minimal wardrobe or just a uniform that still shows my own personal style.

I'm a fan of Rick Owens, when it's at its less extreme, so what Jack Dorsey wears.

I'm thinking of selling all the stuff I don't need and spending it on some Rick pieces.

So:
A leather jacket, something waterproof since Irelands always raining.
Basic RO hoodie and/or some sort of cashmere black sweater.
Basic ts I'll probably get from Uniqlo, but maybe one oversized t-shirt or something a little different.
Jeans, again probably Rick, something skinny/slim fitting.
Island Dunks or Rick Owens Boat Shoes.

So no drop crotch or really out there pieces, I might go for a funnel neck, asymmetric zip leather jacket - blistered leather, that sort of thing.

What do you guys think?
Is there anything I'm missing out on?

I'm a software Development student, I don't have any formal events, meetings or anything whereby I couldn't wear what's listed above.
I'm also far more comfortable in sneakers than dress shoes, and hoodies and t-shirts than shirts and V necks.

Hey, seanf999. Boat shoes do not go with everything else you're wearing. They are also impractical for rainy areas. Get some boots!

If you can find any old chelsea boots on ebay or something, made by Land's End, those I recommend. I have had mine for years and they have held up. They are beautiful. I believe they are called Fultons.

If you can't find any, checkout Ibex boots. They use aniline leather and are goodyear welted: great for the rain.

They have others.

Thrift stores should also have a good pair of boots somewhere. They're cheap for students like you.
