Greetings all,
I often purchase chinos with a lovely crease in them, which soon disappears as i throw them around and machine wash them...and i'd like to bring the crease back, as i think it adds a smartness to them that is missing without it.
My question: can any trouser have a crease added, by simply pressing one in? or is a chino cut in a certain way (unlike a wool flannel for example) to not support one?
For example, can i put a crease in an Joe McCoy 'McQueen' chino, if i wanted?
And what is the easiest/quickest/least faffy way to get from zero crease to at least a decent hint of one - a Corby trouser press?
Many thanks all for any suggestions here.
