The way the episode just built and built in intensity was fantastic. Skyler answering Marie's phone call with Walt laughing hysterically in the background....and cut.

It's not just cut. You're missing the genius camera work of Walt sinking into a deeper hole as the camera pans out. Omg and that chilling ambient sound. Best show on tv right now. Walt deserves an Emmy for the next 20 years.

Walt is not a man who knows how to tread lightly. Granted, he only realizes after he gets kidnapped that Jesse is the only thing keeping him alive, but you would think he would have some foresight not to treat Jesse like a child, especially when he sees that he and Gus are getting closer every day.

Gus may have made a mistake.

The only reason Walt was keeping the operation quiet was because he was in. Now he's out, so what's stopping him from outing Gus?

Coming clean is not an option. He's never going to get immunity in this situation and everything will be confiscated.

Best move, for himself, was to just let Hank go. Hank wont stop.

In a circular way, the cartel tip hides Gus from the hit if - he can get him.

Jesse is a child. Just remember all the stupid **** he's done in the past.

Jesse couldnt see thru the attempt to marginalize Walt. He pretends to stay loyal and at the same time is ******* him up. He's been doing this since the beginning.

Walt realizes midway through the season Gus is trying to create a rift, and every time he has an encounter with Jesse, he manages to widen that rift. Granted, we know more than Walt does, but still.

The next season is the final season. It is going to be amazing (hopefully). Watching everything spiral out of control. There is no way things will wrap up cleanly for Walt, Gus, or Jesse. People will die or go to jail.

Gus will want to kill them both eventually so the only way out is through DEA

I'm not so sure. Remember that Mike is laid up in Mexico. If Walt's going to make a move against Gus, now would be the time.

Gus is a scary scary man. He remembers for a long long time.

Walt is still very clear in the head even when hes got an under hand.

Jessie is still loyal.

it's interesting, gus has always been so calm until now, now he seems to be showing his emotion.

the scene in the nursing home was brilliant

Not really, Gus still has many henchmen that are tailing Walter and protecting Jesse. I'm sure he has his own protection as well.

Henchmen who move drugs are not necessarily someone you would trust with lethal force. Aside from the two gentlemen this past episode who abducted Walt I'm not sure Gus has that many killers on the regular payroll. Mike seemed to be his go to guy for those kinds of jobs, and now that he's out this is Walt's chance.

Unlikely Walt would do that.

Walt's mistake this season has been handing the task of rubbing out Gus to Jesse. Bad move. Jesse was really messed up over killing Gale and then asking him to do it again was a mistake. It was Walt's job.

Again. Again. Again. Walt's flaw in this entire show has been his loyalty towards Jesse. Had Jesse been wiped out last season or the season before he'd be the kingpin. All the tumult between him and Gus was because of Jesse. They should have had a perfect relationship: 2 educated, measured men hiding in plain sight.
