I on the other hand have upped my budget and am eying the Epiphone Masterbilt now.

There was an amazing solid wood Parkwood model (Korean brand proprietary to Guitar Center) that I spotted in Lynnwood last week for $240 WITH a case, which retailed for ~$700. Immense disappointment ensued when I realized there was a crack in the body =(

If it's too good to be true, it is...

Anyone have a suggestion for an acoustic guitar in the sub $200 (used) range?

used yamaha. or go to a local shop or better yet, luthier, my guy salvages **** brands from the 60's-70's and tunes them up sells em for around that price, maybe a bit more.
