Eagerly awaiting mine, mahoosive sole and all. Not sure if I ordered the right size seeing what Seafinch wrote. I'm a US8.5 on DB's, and I ordered a UK8 on the Weavers. Are these going to be too big on me?

looks like the Clae Romare Lo. I have a pair of the Romare Hi's and they're pretty solid shoes. *edit* I dunno which came first. Probably Clae bit Clarks.

yeah other than clarks desert boots, not a huge fan of the other styles.

the clarks lugger is ok, but you cant find them in US in any good colors or sizes. its only in japan and england

Same. I use to own a similar style made by Birkenstock with a hard rubber sole similar to what Quoddy uses. Unfortly no longer in production.
