Cheaney or Churchs for monk straps

I dont really like either. If I had to choose based on look I would go with the Cheaney pair, Quality wise I would go with Churchs. They look very similar though, Just go with Churchs if your settled on getting one of those two.

The Churchs will last for ages.

You could be really cheeky and try them on in Austin Reed in Cambridge, too.

Or, you could pop down to Ede & Ravenscroft and inspect their collection of Cleverley RTW. I don't know if there's a monk, but the ones I've seen are great. C&J Handgrades, I think.

I will probably try them on at Austin Reed and buy them from Herring, the difference in price is over 100 GBP so its worth it to buy from Herring shoes. I wasn't aware Ede & Revenscroft sold shoes, but I will certaintly take a look.

Of the two, I prefer the look of the Church. But, I'm not in love with either.
