You've heard about helper/support yachts, just get a support car. Drive around in the giant thing until you need something smaller and swap out with the driver following you.

Re: size, this is precisely why I pick the sprinter. It is, by my highly professional calculations, the largest vehicle that one can still drive and park comfortably (in the United States, ymmv elsewhere). But at the same time, it can be adopted to a minibus, rolling office or living room, cargo vehicle or #vanlife depending on your needs
