Is it possible to do one of the norwegian styles as an apron only? ie. without the split in the toe?

I want a shell jodhpur, too! But they won’t make me one

Look man...I haven’t had my turn at being told no; and you’re not gonna rob me of it. So give it a rest...lol

I like where you’re going with that.

I had asked about this some time ago, but didn’t get a response from Carmina. Let’s see what she says.

Thanks, trying to figure a versatile style that's on the relatively more casual spectrum. I was originally leaning towards frankenstitch, in part, because it's unique. But it might be better to go with something more timeless. Even the NST could be a good option, I'm thinking. Still on the fence on the WTB - the green ones posted upthread are stellar but I can't decide if I will like them as much in a lighter color.

Yeah if they won’t make me a Jodhpur, I’m definitely gonna go for an NST in Amoretto.

Gents,

I have gone ahead and created a basic spreadsheet to track the Amaretto requests. If you are interested in the other leftover leathers that @Carmina mentioned, please feel free to add a different tab.

Please add you name to the list if interested. If you want more than one pair, please add two rows.

Let me know if you have difficulty with updating the file.

I have added:
@cc808314
@up1911fan
@flylikeneagle
@p1yhRZks

Tracking Spreadsheet

Hey Cc, is that a google spread sheet? I’m not getting a link.

No wholecut chelsea, or no type of chelsea at all?

I believe carmina has the mto wholecut in burgandy museum but as far as shell cordovan chelsea, no.

I nailed down my fit by owning a bunch of Carminas. I was fitted in a Carmina store once, but more about trial and error. If you have any Allen Edmonds shoes for comparison I can try to help.

Yes, when trying on the belt should be buckled. You probably want the first or second hole to feel good in the store - if the third one fits now it may be too loose after the footbed settles.

Thanks for the info, so 2nd hole is probably ideal? And I only own a uk8/us9 allen edmunds black park aves and just recently got the carmina wholecut dark brown suede oxfords uk8 in the rain last. Post two pics a few posts above. I do live in nyc so Ill take your suggestion in regards to fitting and visit the store
