Seems so, especially for the Oscar.

You said you are looking to go without storm welt. Is this the look you are seeking to achieve?

Yes, that's precisely what I'm going for, only in Burgundy and with dainite soles. It's for casual wear and walks to work, often in rain (I live in Norway). I only hope Cordovan holds up in the rain, I've heard some differing anecdotes.

Got a shipment notification for two out of my three MTO orders. That’s not bad, in terms of turn-around time. For example, I ordered a MTO pair of EG Galway boots last October. Still waiting on them. ?
So exactly how many (-)always do you have or that are in production. It would be awesome to get a pic of your complete collection once you get them all.

It's split down the middle, really: 3 EG Galway (one in production since 1834) and 3 Calways, two in production (one on its way).

Yep, some people swear by cordovan in wet, some avoid it. I'm split -- darker shades only for inclement weather use.

Based on what you will use it for I vote double dainite sole.

Can anyone please advise if this defect in the welting impacts the integrity of the shoe?

Not at all. Almost all my Aldens are same and they are as rugged as can be.

Will you be posting pics of the full shoe for our enjoyment?

@Carmina Is it possible to make a boot with this type of Lactae Hevea crepe sole, and with this type of layered heel?
If anyone else knows, please feel free to comment.
