I have the Rudy van Gelder edition. It's a great album. I think it's better than Kind of Blue, but then again I think KoB is highly overrated...(musically, not in terms of influence).
Classic. One of my favs, though I haven't listened to it in many months.
I listen to it pretty often -- probably two or three times a month.
It's a good album for sure, but I don't think it's nearly the album that Kind of Blue is. But I do like the way Miles plays on it. With his own group he's playing a role, but as a sideman he's a little looser. If you like this record more than KOB I'd recommend the Sonny Rollins/Max Roach quintet dates: Max Roach Plus Four, Sonny Rollins Plus Four, etc. Also the earlier group with Roach and Clifford Brown (and the very underrated Harold Land).

Wow, what an amazing album. Cannonball, Miles, Art, Sam, and Hank.
