Hey guys,

Can anyone identify the brand and style of sunglasses that Lil Wayne is wearing in the Prom Queen video during the actual prom scene (around 1:21) in the video.

And yeah, I know a lot of people aren't overly fond of the song, but I really love the sunglasses and was hoping to get them.

Thanks in advance.

It's a pitch corrector people like lil wayne use because they can't sing. it basically masks their terrible voices

90% of radio rap uses the pitch corrector vocals in some way shape or form right now, you just may be more familar with Kayne doing it. He hardly pioneered it or is the only one to blame. I blame madonna for bringing that **** back in the first place. The idea he uses it to mask his 'singing' voice is a bit off since he uses it on most of the carter III whether he is rapping or singing or what. The idea that a rapper would need to hide the fact he had no singing voice is also laughable.

It's always funny seeing people talk down artists that they don't like simply because of that reason. I'm not a big fan of Lil' Wayne but I can respect the fact that he's been both critically and socially well regarded, that's no easy feat for anyone. For the record I think his lyrics can be somewhat reasonable at times and there's a certain appeal to his croaky voice, kind of like the appeal for Thom Yorke's mumbling voice.
