Camel coat + navy blazer looks bad :(

Just trying to find if others agree: I don't like a camel (colour) coat with dark buttons over a navy blazer w/ gold buttons if the top coat is open and one can see the blazer buttons.

Silver-colored blazer buttons look less offensive but still bother me. Are there others of the same views here?

Too bad, if I wear these together I have to button the coat, but I love the look of an unbottoned coat...

Nope, fine by me. I don't think overcoats (personally) should be under too much scrutiny as far as matching goes. And almost always, you'd get rid of them as you walked in the door.
