C&J 9.5 Vs 10 on 348

How much difference would a half size between a 9.5 and 10 make in a 348 and in terms of shoe wearability .

I have a Pair of Lowndes in a 9.5 but they took a while to break in and at one stage I was thinking they were too small as they were width wise a little tight. Had a couple of innitial hair raising wearings but now they are ok. Thinking now of getting some Hallams but thinking in a 10. Worried that foot might slip around too much but heck its only half a size? I believe length wise the difference is 3mm and width 2mm.

I would stick with your size 9.5, I am the same size as you and a 10 on 348 seemed ridiculous!

When I was at T&A the first time to size the different lasts and models, they were out of 6.5E in many of the models I wanted (mostly 348 last models), so I tried a few of them in 7E. Compared to the 6.5 on both the 348 and 337, the 7E sure felt like a big difference....quite a bit of heel slip. Especially considering that the shoe will stretch slightly over time, I would definitely not size up. Also just for your reference, I had them order and ship me out a pair of Lowndes in 6.5E from that visit.

1/2 size is just that, 1/2 size. I wouldn't do it unless you can try both or you can exchange.
