I had assumed fake, so had already left it. No worries about being obnoxious. I never resent advice from someone who knows more about it than I do.

My old crappy vintage photo flood finally died last week. Looking at getting something like this.

LED Photo Video Light Kit Boom Black Body Photographic Studio Lighting Carry Bag I probably wont use all 3 at one time, but is anyone using this type? Is there a benefit to getting the "barn door" type instead?

I'd love to hear anyone's opinion on lights as well. I've been maneuvering around my little photo corner for a couple of years now, and I'd like to upgrade. Are the lights that Capnwes linked a solid direction? Let's pretend/fantasize that space and cost isn't a consideration...what would be the recommendation?
