I've been a regular visitor to this forum, but this is my first post!
The bag in the picture was bought last year on sale in the Ferragamo store in Hong Kong. I spotted it immediately as I walked into the store, as it was the only bright coloured bag in mens section. All the bags I had before then were a shade of brown, so I thought this could brighten up things a bit, especially for the summers.
I ended up never taken the bag out of its dust cover, and have totally forgotten about it, until last month. I was searching for a Boston bag for my golf stuff. After looking into an array of bags from Callaway, Onoff, Mizuno, etc. in a number of shops, I returned empty handed as none of them seem to fit the bill. They were either way too big, made with faux leather or designed as if some one has vomited the worst combination of colour stripes all over the bag.
Then I remembered the Ferragamo bag I bought which was left collecting dust on the top shelf of the wardrobe. I'd never used it because it was a tad too big for a briefcase, yet too small for a weekend bag. I started filling it with the golf stuff I carry - shoes, gloves, belt, towers, app enabled gizmos. Voila! It was a perfect fit!
So here you go. If you are looking for a Boston golf bag and found most of them tacky, it's worth looking into some bigger briefcases.
