Greetings all,
Offered for sale is a pair of boots that is as awesome as boots get. Why sell them? Well, in an embarrassment of good fortune, I happened to have this pair and the equivalent in Voak calf arrive at almost the same time. The Voak pair got into the rotation right away, and this Kudu pair have proved to be just too similar in shade (and identical in style). Redundant awesome Thorpes definitely falls into the category of first world problems, but hey, it's still boot season - better someone else enjoy wearing these boots.
These are BNIB, never worn, never tried on. Out of the box for photos and that's it.
Specs:
Size: UK9
Width: F (one up from standard E width - which I find to be narrower than EG E width. For sizing comparison ALL my EG boots are E width).
Upper and shaft: Kudu. The awesomeness of the grain is evident in the pics.
Speedhooks: none - all eyelets.
Sole: Dainite. Any time, any place, any weather.
Trees: No trees were ordered with this pair.
Price: US$ 975 which includes Paypal and shipping in Canada and the US
I will sell to an established forum member from across the pond, but understand that overseas shipping from Canada is hellaciously expensive -like an extra $100. Crazy, I know, but there you are.
Now onto the pics:
You want a nicer split toe derby boot you will have to go bespoke. And VERY high end bespoke at that. G&G owns this style. Thanks for reading. As usual, I'm happy to answer any questions, but the first "I'll take it" gets this beautiful pair.
