If you don't care about Exchange server integration/push email, no IMO.

Ah, did not know that. Verizon was the same for my Q as it is for my BB, I think $44.00 or so.

In the UK, the bb monthly charge is 1/22th the charge of an iPhone monthly charge.

What the hell is the point of 2? You can set up multiple email addresses on one BB.

Well ok, the bb unlimited data is 1/22th the price of an iPhone including voice, but you can get a voice only package for £5 per month...
Making the cheapest bb package £13 per month
The cheapest iPhone package is £35 per month!

One use case for this is if you have a company-provided device - the company may opt not to pay for a voice plan and you may not want to have your personal email going to the company-owned one, and the company probably doesn't want your business email going to your personal one, etc.

No offense, but I think you're crazy!

Blackberry layouts/menus make sense. I have used many smartphones/cell phones out there and the Blackberry has the most logical interface.

Though this is strictly my opinion!

I had a BB 7290 with TMO once and now using a BB 8830 on VZW.

blackberryforums.com has a ton of great info.

I have an 8700 and consider it the best phone/PDA ever made. I've been waiting for this concept to be perfected for years and IMO with the 8700 it has been.

If I was going to upgrade, I'd bypass the Curve and go for the 8800 series.

edit: I don't use it to check e-mail or subscribe to the 40 a month blackberry unlimited service. All I needed was a functional PDA merged with a phone that syncs with MS Outlook without trouble, and this is the first device to get it right.

My wife has a curve,

I kind of agree with pantheist, while it is somewhat intuitive, the multimedia applications seem slightly less than stellar, i.e. media player, camera photo's, etc.

However from a business perspective, the email function and layout, is unbeatable.

Why do you prefer the Curve to the 8830? The Curve is not currently an option on VZW, the 8830 is.

The Blackberry Pearl 8130 is a great phone. It has a slick exterior and is equiped with basically the Curve intel. I would highly recommend it.
