The ones I have are pretty stretchy. They have been washed several times and have not lost their shape. They must be some kind of cotton/lycra blend.
Or, are you looking for a completely synthetic stretch microfiber?

I haven't tried on the Calvin Kleins, but I like the Jockey trunks I got from walmart. They were like $7/pair and stretch enough for me..
