I misunderstood the title of another thread and it gave me an interesting question. I thought it would be fun to see the general consensus. I don't want any group think though...

What is the best MTM as far as quality, consistancy, construction, etc. In the USA? I am looking for in store, not online.

I'm quite happy with English-American/Individualized out of Maryland for the low price point and quality (they're a "factorY MTM" doing work for stroes around the country). I have about 1 dozen of their shirts and the ones I don't like are my fault due to choices of collars or material. I have one MTM suit I posted recently and it's nicely done.

The best part is my local tailor and their outstanding service.

I have no other experiences to compare to at this time.

What really matters is that the person measuring you (a) knows what they are doing and (b) has the balls to send something back when the factory messes it up. I've had bad luck with Adrian Jules, good luck with Freeman's Sporting Club, and the best luck with a guy named David Strange, who is an independent operator (but I think might get his stuff from Coppley?? - actually I have no idea). David was just a stickler for detail, and had no qualms about sending stuff back.

If you are serious correct me. I thought I read somewhere on this forum or AAAC that tom ford is made with great materials, but lacking in construction. Maybe I am mistaken.
