Hello everyone! I ordered a few shirts from Jantzen (in Hong Kong) in the past and I am now ready to pass orders through their website aswell, however it is very hard to know what the fabrics are like and obtaining samples from Ricky is near impossible as he is very very busy. I am quite a conservative person so I like plain shirts, either in a very bright blue (but it has to be blue, not pink or purple or anything similar) or in white. I also love stripes but these should be of the same colour (not a red one, blue one and then green one... sweet jesus...), usually blue but sometimes green aswell. Since I don't own a single t-shirt and very few polos, shirts play an essential role within my wardrobe, in the summer I wear them with an additional button open and rolled up sleeves, in the winter I wear them with casual clothing. I like my shirts to work for both, casual and formal occasions and I consider myself to be someone with a certain ammount of class versatility is important. I never want to look too relaxed. I mostly wear shirts with french cuffs. I would be very grateful if anyone could recommend some Jantzen shirt fabrics and give me a very short review of that fabric and its feel.
Ricky offers a large number of collars, while in Hong Kong he made shirts for me that had quite a wide collar yet not a shark collar, he calls them the New Classic Spread, I was thinking of an alternative shown on his website which is the classic spread, his pictures don't give a very good idea of the collar once it is on a shirt could anyone tell me which collars are the most classic ones in his range? I wish I had asked him to show me more collars in Hong Kong but it must have slipped my mind... http://www.jantzentailor.com/collarstyle.htm Or you can see them much better by going on http://www.jantzentailor.com/ and clicking on Style and then Collar style, that section shows different, better pictures. Also what do you think of the different collar thickenesses that Ricky offers? I tried the normal one which seemed very thick... Thank you everyone!
