best clothes to wear a guys necklace with?

so i just got a necklace which i thought looked kinda cool, except im not quite sure what to wear it with!
its like a silver with black rounded beads then silver in that order, and with a black cross at the end
i dont want to wear it with something and it not working with a outfit and looking stupid, any ideas?
its quite long, im thinking maybe with T's, or a white T overlayed with a slim fit shirt

i can post some pics of the clothes that i think it would look ok with but just wondered what the opinon is for guys neckalces and what clothes work best with them.

im geussing that normal round neck T dont work well with necklaces becuase of their shape, more a pointed neck T (button's) not sure what the word for it is!
