It was fantastic and cheap, although not as cheap as it has been in the past.

That meal would put me in a food coma. Good thing you had the day off. I like the Diet Coke too, I get made fun of for that constantly. Its just that I am so used to the stuff and being that I am likely to drink 2 or 3 I can't take the real stuff. Anyway, you inspired me to it up a 5 Guys now that they are in the city.

Minneapolis - Ike's on 6th Street. Just down from Murray's (of recent GQ mention - not that that is the reason to go there). Food good at both.

Prime Burger was OK. P.J. Clarke's is better. Not enough texture in the Prime Burger. I'd go back though. The price was right and the relish is delish.

Tell me you don't put relish on your burgers.

This is red burger relish, not the green stuff you're thinking about. I suspect it's a northeast thing, but I don't really know.

What does red relish consist of?

It's, like, peppers and some sweetness and hotness and loads and loads of goodness.

Otherwise, I'm not really sure.

Like Sfield says, it is like watching disneyland for middle management and transplanted LI douches, and for me, that is a very uncomfortable scene.

Morton's is closed right now isn't it? Or undergoing renovation or something? I thought I walked past it just this past Thursday, humping it out to the 'loin and I thought I saw some signs to that effect.

I've never eaten there. It strikes me as too much an "expense account" type of place. Same reason I dislike Boulevard.

I actually think the Houstons in the Citigroup Center has a really good burger.

Royale in the East Village (11th and C, maybe) is another place to try.

That happens to be where I first had Five Guys, that exact location. Pretty decent.
