It's been a while but in the interest of fairness I wanted my followup comments to be in the same thread.
I spoke with Atam and he agreed to remake the sample shirt in the fabric I originally ordered. No hassle at all which was nice.
I thought I'd be wearing Paris shirts by now but my order was lost in the mail as was my first sample shirt (one sample shirt did successfully make it to me via the US Postal Service).
That was a week and a half ago. Leaving messages every other day didn't elicit a response but I finally spoke with Atam today and he should know by Friday if he can get the same fabrics (basic Thomas Mason and Acorn) and will then re-make the shirts.
One good thing that has come out of this - I gave Joe Hemrajani the sample shirt, indicated a couple of changes and hope to have three well-fitting shirts in about a month, at a third of the cost.
