Anybody have these? I needed a loafer and scooped these up because I had a giftcard to BR (used at Piperlime). They look like a step up from the more plasticky version that's been issued in the cordovan color. Obviously they're not up to Alden standards, but for $129 I figured what the hell.

They look good to me. It seems like Bass has upgraded the Weejun, which for me is a good thing. I haven't owned any Bass Weejuns for 20 years or so, as I feel like they went pretty far down hill. I would buy another pair if the quality was there, so let us know how you like them.

AAC Trads like the Gilman. The leather has a nice finish for the money they say. I like the idea of them too - I think they will be my penny to decide if I like wearing pennies.... Much easier to stomach thatn the $600 I'd pay for cool LHSs.

Cool. Looking forward to them. Will post some pictures/comments when I receive them.
