Baseball caps

Unless one is playing baseball, they do look a bit juvenile when worn by adults ... at least those over 29.

Of course I still rock mines from time to time. When paired correctly, it never subtracts any style points from my outfits. But clearly there's bad taste in baseball hats here...

Hattans can improve an outfit if worn properly. But so many just tend to look awkward/weekend dad.

and of course my guy harvey fishing cap (that blew off my head last weekend and i just got another on eBay for 14 bucks FTW!)

40's paneled repros are the way to go if you want to rock a hat irl. ebbets field flannels have this weird little fold at the top of every one i've tried on. I was at a place that had a ton of them in every color and logo and every size and I was deadset on finding the perfect one with this huge array in front of me (and being a fan of hats..). But alas everyone didn't look right sitting on my head...the top little thing I mentioned..

Me too.

I placed an order for a SF Seals hat before the damn baseball season started. I finally got an email from the shop yesterday saying they had come in last week and should be shipped in the next week or so.. I'm not holding my breath, tho

I have an ebbets hat that i picked up from their store here in seattle. it was incorrectly made (inaccurate color is all), so i got it for $10. i like baseball, and have a braves hat made by new era. new era hats are HUGE on my head, and i've never been happy with it. too much volume up front, if that makes sense. the ebbets field hat is much better and low profile.

but i do know what slack tide is referring to, the top of mine has some folds in it, but it doesn't bother me

Ebbets will make you a plain flannel hat in any color they have. They charge a premium, and it takes awhile, but it's a nice option.
