Went mad in the end. Died in penury.
I know James Boag and he is a friend....
Cromwell Street, Collingwood. Not really worth the trip IMHO, they had HB branded shirts and socks, some sports coats (Canali, Curwen, Boglioni) and shoes, plus a few miscellaneous items in approx. 50 sqm of space
I've always known about him. And have several books on his life and influence. All a bit sad in the end.
Possibly a bit before your time - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beau_Brummels
PG did say if anyone knew him it would be you fxh.
Read this book on Beau a while back which gave great insight into the man and the times. Truly a sad end.
Anyone? Or any will I have to go with my better half's choice (probably will anyway - I am dressing to impress her more than you after all)!?
^ I like the Tetbury with its more elongated toe
Popped into Azzaro for the first time in ages. I bought a mate from work who was after some shirts and a new suit or two. There currently have lots of Canali in stock (in 50 and 52 at least) and lots of 'Azzaro' suits..which are just re-branded Antichi Telai suits. For $495 you can't go wrong. They are quite slim fitting though.
Sad news is that Alessandro is no longer with them, he went back to Italy.
Canali in 50 & 52, you say?
Wakey wakey fxh ...spotted in Melbourne today
My eyes...my eyes!!!
And lots of Canterelli. Lots of good sportsjackets as well in this size. And new Antichi Telai dinner suits (peak lapel, one button).
Mmmm....I am okay with socklessness, but slippers with a black DB and trousers that look like jeggings....I dunno about that.
Tetbury for the same reason. It just looks more elegant to my eyes. Here's a top down view of all of them.
Any tan coloured cotton/linen suits?
And Tets are the shooz to go.
